About, ingredients & important information
Enzyme-led support for mealtime comfort.
IPS Digestion pairs ginger root with DigeZyme®, a proprietary five-enzyme blend, plus green rooibos. It’s a complementary medicine formulated to aid the proper digestion of food and help the body absorb the nutrients in it — taken with meals, three times a day, so the enzymes are on hand exactly when there’s food to work on.
Why these ingredients
- Ginger root is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve digestive upset — including a reduced appetite, nausea, digestive spasms, indigestion and dyspepsia.
- DigeZyme® five-enzyme blend supplies specific digestive enzymes to aid proper digestion and support nutrient absorption: amylase (breaks down starch), protease (breaks down protein), lipase (breaks down fat), cellulase (breaks down cellulose) and lactase (breaks down lactose).
- Green Oxithin™ is included as an antioxidant, helping the body deal with free radicals.
This might be for you if…
- You want an enzyme blend you take with meals, not a one-a-day set-and-forget capsule.
- You’d rather know exactly which enzymes are in your digestive supplement than read “digestive enzyme blend” on a label.
- You’re 18 or older.
