How to take it
Each product keeps its own directions — the bundle doesn't change either of them:
- IPS Energy: 1 to 2 capsules daily as required, with a full glass of water. Best taken in the morning or early afternoon — the caffeine content may disrupt sleep if taken later.
- IPS Calm & Focus: 2 capsules daily, any time of day, with a full glass of water.
Swallow each whole — don't crush or chew.
Who should take care
This is the combined list across both products — see each product's own page for the complete detail:
- Not recommended for children under 18.
- Don't take either if you're hypersensitive to their ingredients, or on chronic medication without medical advice.
- Contains caffeine — up to 66 mg per day from IPS Energy, plus a small amount from IPS Calm & Focus (under 1 mg per capsule). Count your total daily caffeine intake across coffee, tea and other sources, and take care if you're sensitive to caffeine.
- On blood thinners like warfarin? Speak to your doctor before starting IPS Energy.
- If you take oral antibiotics, space them at least 2 hours before or 4 hours after IPS Energy — it contains magnesium, which can affect antibiotic absorption.
- At caffeine intakes above 600 mg a day from all sources combined, effects such as anxiety, a rapid heartbeat, insomnia or tremor become more likely.
- Pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy? Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before starting either product.
- If you're unsure how this affects you, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know.
Storage
Store both at or below 25°C, in their original, tightly closed containers, protected from moisture and out of the bathroom. Keep out of reach of children.
