15 New year’s goals

At the start of the new year, it is important to set goals, as this will give us guidance and structure on what we want to achieve in the coming year. Most of us start with a bang, vowing to make better financial decisions and improve our mental and physical health, but fast forward three months, and we often find ourselves repeating old, bad habits. 

Small goals are easily achievable and will give you a sense of accomplishment and make it easier to incorporate them in your daily life. 

Here are some ideas of small, achievable goals:

  2. Make your bed every morning. 
  3. Drink more water.
  4. Make time to relax.
  5. Take the stairs. 
  6. Get enough sleep and work on your bedtime routine.
  7. Create a budget and stick to it!

  11. Prioritise your annual health screenings!
  12. Make more time for friends and family.
  13. Try a new recipe every week.
  14. Try an exercise class – in the gym or online.
  15. Spend more time outdoors – and don’t forget the sunscreen!
