We all know boxing as a sport where two people, wearing protective clothing, get in a ring and throw punches at each other, but it has also become a popular way to get (or stay) fit, also known as fitness boxing. Fitness boxing borrows routines and movements from traditional boxing, but instead, you will punch a punching bag or the air, typically in a group/class setting.
If you want to start fitness boxing, we recommend joining a class to ensure you learn the right techniques and learn a couple of basic punches. You will also need hand wraps, boxing gloves, and shoes to keep you balanced. Additionally, remember to stock up on some IPS Magnesium to ease and prevent muscle cramps , and the IPS Hydrolysed Collagen to help with strong, flexible muscles and to help maintain the integrity of your joints.
